I was worried the pearls might look cheap, but the freshwater pearls on these are actually beautifully matched and have a lovely subtle luster. The floral design feels substantial without being uncomfortably heavy, perfect for dressing up a simple dress.

The petals have a nice weight to them, so they don't feel flimsy or cheap when I move my head. I wore them to a dinner party and got three compliments, which never happens. They're definitely showy, but the pearls keep it from being too much.
